'Hey Sanjay !'...
Sanjay turned back to see who is calling him.
'Ah! What! Hey Raj! How come you are here?', said excited Sanjay.
Raj and Sanjay were friends, they finished their studies with almost same percentage.
But fate decides who has to be where and when irrespective of their likes and dislikes.
(I guess all of you would accept to this point :P)
Both were meeting in a bus. Sanjay was traveling to his office...
Raj responded saying, 'Machi, I got a job in MNC da, I moved in here last week'
Though Sanjay wanted to know the Income of Raj he couldn't ask that.. Of course it is a fact that we cannot discuss few things with friends when we are in a so called Professional Software Environment.
He made a point to react with something else... 'Oh, thats' great, Then How are you? Where are you staying? Where is your office?', shot Raj with bunch of questions.
*SIGH* "Am Fine Sanjay, Since my office is near Marathahalli I am staying in a PG da near Ulsoor where the rent is less", Raj answered.
"It's been long time da that we meet after college days, so what were you doing before?", Sanjay asked the burning question to Raj. Sanjay's intention was to know whether he did any higher studies meanwhile.
"Well, I was working in a CMMI level 5 company, it was a good learning, though I wanted to leave it because I have to extend my support to my family financially, hence decided to get a job in Bangalore, and now I am here", said Raj.
"Oh! Thats' great man !', said Sanjay as his question stack was empty !
Though these 2 friends are meeting after a long time, they really had nothing to share much, because their priority has been changed...
For the first time, Raj asked Sanjay, "Where are you working man? Where do you put up?"
Alerted Sanjay, suddenly a bell rang in his head, "Oh my god ! what if he wants to share my room ! :( "
"Uh ! Well I am with the same company which I got selected in our Campus da, I stay near Richmond circle, which is around 30 km from your office , am already sharing the room with my office mates dude", cleverly answered Sanjay
Though Rajs' intention was not to share his room, he understood the meaning of Sanjay's answer. It caused a little pain in his heart !
There was a long silence between them for few minutes. Nobody dares to start the conversation again.
Finally, Sanjay said, "Uh Well, We will be here only da, gimme your contact I will call you back, lets' meet up in weekend and will spend some time"
Then they exchanged the phone numbers, as well as the fake smile. Sanjay waved Raj and got down the bus to get to his office.
Then Raj continued his travel along with train of thoughts.
"How selfish people become when they start earning !", "Well, he got my number not to call back but to put in reject list ! ", sighed Raj.
Raj really didn't expect that his closest friend would treat him like that.
Terrified Raj, now understood that no one will be ready to spend a moment to their closer circles !
Now that Raj bus stop has come, he got down as a new man wearing long face, migrated from Raj Version1 to Raj Version2.
On reflection, Raj would also do the same to his friends from this moment..
And this is how a Friendship breaks. This happens almost only in Software industry. Am damn sure that each one of us might have faced this situation.
Now-a-days if you lose your friend's mobile number and you are not in Face book, thats' it.. Boom, you lost your friend !
We are disconnecting ourselves from our own friends circle who loves us the most and connects with them in Facebook and Whatsapp !
These utilities are only to connect the people who are disconnected. But we voluntarily disconnect to get connected in this portal.
I am writing this post with aching heart and with some expectation that at least one person will change...
Let me share few of our human qualities and its meaning in our generation ..

- Assertive - "In most cases its meaning is mistaken, Assertive is conveying your rights without hurting anyone, but it is understood as Pleasing everyone"
- Attentive - "We always have a marathon of thoughts within our brain when we listen..."
- Caring - "Do we care for anything else except ours ?"
- Charitable - "Hardly we give anything to others, and we call it as Possessiveness, hmmm... when is the last time you gave charity ?"
- Cooperative - "Come on, We are not at all co-operating with ourselves !! "
- Disciplined - "Do we still stand in a Queue ? or Obey a STOP line in traffic"
- Faithful - "Am I faithful to my friends and family ?"
- Flexible - "Why should I listen to him? Why he doesn't listen to me?... People understand, Flexibility comes only when you initiate it"
- Forgiving - "Didn't forget this term yet ? Forgive ? Nope. Take revenge is the only option now-a-days"
- Friendly - "Fakeness in Friendship", "We have now started to categorize Best Friends, Close friends and friends"
- Gentle - "Ah! Whats' the meaning !"
- Giving - "Why should I give? Why not others? "
- Harmonious - "It remains only in ARR music, no where else"
- Helpful - "Not at all ready to do a help because we are afraid what if he/she overtakes me !"
- Humble - "Gonna Appreciate? Then Its me, Gonna Criticize? Then Its him"
- Humorous - "Only in TVs"
- Kind - "R.I.P"
- Loving - "So called Love only in words now, people prefers short-term relationship rather than long-term as they find it boring to hung up with the same person"
- Loyal - "Why does it matter now?"
- Modest - "Pain to hear na ? Replaced by the word Show-Off"
- Punctual - "Not a good word for Indians ;) " (No offense)
- Respectful - "Respect is directly proportional to Richness"
- Simple - "What in the world are you going to do by being simple ?"
- Tolerant - "Tolerate a fake person in office has become easy but not tolerating our own family member"
- Understanding - "Right understanding of Wrong thing is easier "
When I was hit and met with an accident those people who helped me was road-street people not the B.E graduate, not the M.B.A graduate !
Above qualities are gifted only for humans and why don't we try to retain that !
Because we expect it from others but forget to search it within !
People should understand one thing, daily
routines will always be there till death, But not age, time, people will
be there always... Make time to feel Human in you and feel Human in others
too...
I swore to change myself and will align myself with the above qualities from now onwards ! Will you ??
